We highly recommend professional hair and makeup for actor headshots. Everyone photographs differently under studio lighting, and a professional MUA ensures your skin looks its best and makeup translates correctly to camera. Our makeup artist stays for the entire session so she can refresh your look between setups. For men, Anthony provides light makeup touch-ups (powder, concealer) at no extra charge.

If you need to reschedule a second time or more, a fee applies: $25 if rescheduled 48 or more hours before your session, or $50 if rescheduled less than 48 hours before. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

Absolutely (but please no small children). We welcome making this a special group experience. Please note though, during your actual shooting time in front of the camera, we may ask them to sit in the waiting area so you can relax and not be distracted. If you have small children, we ask that you leave them at home.

Solid colors photograph best — avoid busy patterns, logos, or overly bright colors that distract from your face. Bring multiple options in varying necklines and colors. Avoid white as your only option. Choose clothing that reflects the roles you're targeting. We offer a pre-session consultation to help you select the right wardrobe.

As actors and models, you need to remember that the agency works for YOU.
However, we need to understand that agencies are concerned about who you hire as your photographer. If the images are not good and marketable, it is harder for an agency to find effective and consistent bookings or castings for you.
So, even though you don’t need agency “approval” it is a good idea to run it by the agency and get their professional input. In fact, they may even help you choose an image with great potential that you might have missed.
It is also very important to review your contract, as some agencies may have an “approval” clause, especially if you signed an exclusive modeling contract.
